Adding an audio sound on a
recorded tape
(1) Insert your recorded tape into the camcorder.
(2)
While pressing the small green button on the
POWER switch, set it to VTR.
(3)
On the camcorder, locate the point where the
recording should begin by pressing or

to set it to playback pause
mode.

Press AUDIO DUB on the Remote
Commander.
(5)
Press
II
on the camcorder and at the same
time start playing back the audio you want to
record. The new sound will be recorded in
stereo 2. The recorded sound in stereo 1 is not
heard.

) Press ■ at the point where you want to stop
recording.
To play back the new recorded sound
Adjust the balance between the original sound
(stereo 1) and the new sound (stereo 2) by
selecting AUDIO MIX in the menu system.
Notes on the AUDIO MIX
• If you want to hear the sound which was added
during playback pause or other playback
modes other than normal mode, set AUDIO
MIX to ST2.
• Five minutes after when you disconnect the
power source, the settings of AUDIO MIX
return to the original sound (stereo I). The
factory setting is the original sound.
To end audio mixing more precisely
- First playback the tape and press ZERO SET
MEMORY on the Remote Commander at the
point where you want to stop audio mixing.
Then start recording from step 2. The recording
stops automatically at the point where you
pressed ZERO SET MEMORY.

Presione II en la videocamara y,
simultaneamente, inicie la reproduccion del
sonido que desee grabar. El sonido nuevo se
grabara en estereo 2, mientras que el grabado
en estereo 1 no se escuchara.
(6) Presione ■ en el punto donde desee detener
la grabacion.
Para reproducir el sonido nuevo
grabado
Ajuste el equilibrio entre el sonido original
(estereo 1) y el nuevo (estereo 2) mediante la
seieccion de AUDIO MIX en el sistema de menus.
Notas sobre la mezcla de audio
♦Si desea escuchar el sonido ahadido durante la
pausa de reproduccion o grabado en otros
modos de reproduccion distintos del modo
normal, ajuste AUDIO MIX en ST2.
• Cinco minutos despues de desactivar la
alimentacion, los ajustes de AUDIO MIX
vuelven al sonido original (estereo 1). El ajuste
de fabrica es el sonido original.
Para finalizar la mezcla de audio con mayor
precision
En primer lugar, reproduzca la cinta y presione
ZERO SET MEMORY en el control remoto en el
punto donde desee detener la mezcla de audio. A
continuacion, inicie la grabacion a partir del paso
2. La grabacion se detendra automa'ticamente en
el punto donde presiono ZERO SET MEMORY.
