Replacing a PCIe adapter in the 9006-22P system
To replace a PCIe adapter in the 5104-22C or 9006-22C system, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. An adapter can share a PCIe riser with other adapters.
See Figure 52 on page 57.

3. For an adapter in position 1 or 2, complete the following steps:
a) If the riser card in position 1 needs replacing, replace it in the riser support.
Ensure the jumper at (A) is set at pins 1 and 2 (P-RESET) as shown in Figure 53 on page 58.
Replace the five screws to secure the riser card (B) to the riser support (C).
