Remove the five screws that secure the riser card (A) to the riser support (B) as shown in Figure 25 on
page 30.

Replacing the rear disk drive backplane in the 9006-22P
Learn how to replace the rear disk drive backplane in the system.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Remove the replacement rear drive riser and cables from the protective plastic envelope.
3. Replace the riser card into the riser frame.
Ensure the jumper at (A) is set at pins 1 and 2 (P-RESET) as shown in Figure 26 on page 31. Replace
the five screws to secure the riser card (B) to the riser support (C).
