It is not to be used loaded transporting over major ramps nor as a replacement for such designated tools like pallet jacks, walkies, fork trucks and such related relocation practices. When this is not practicable, specially trained persons or services must be used (for instance, riggers or movers).

    Figure 1. Removing the filler panels 4. Determine to place the system in the rack. Record the EIA location. 5. Facing the front of the rack and working from the right side, use tape, a marker, or pencil to mark the lower hole of each EIA unit.
  • Page 19 Do not install mismatched hardware by using washers or spacers. If you do not have the correct rails and fittings for your rack, contact your IBM reseller. Note: The system requires 2 EIA rack units (2U) of space.

    5. Move to the front of the rack. Align the left rack rail inside the rack cabinet by resting the rail bracket hooks on the rack flange holes that you previously marked. The rail hooks are located in the flange hole in the middle of each EIA rack unit.
