Figure 30. Replacing the PCIe riser
a. Retract the retaining pin (B) so the arrow points to the system.
b. Insert the riser, using the slots and alignment pins to properly insert the riser. Push the riser firmly
into the system backplane.
c. Set the retaining pin (B) to secure the riser.
d. If the system has a thumbscrew near the front of the riser, tighten that thumbscrew.
8. Fully insert the rear drive trays.
