MPEG FUes:
• Files with the following formats can be played.
Files with the .MPG or .MPEG extension : Also image and voice files com¬
pressed under MPEGl or MPEG2.
There are cases in which some data cannot be played.
• To play a file from [Windows Explorer] or [My Computer], click the file
you wish to play with the right button of the touch pad, and select [Play
(FMV Pack2)] from the pop-up menu that appears.
Video CDs:
• The [Media Player] can play each file (,DAT), one after the other, in the
"Mpegav" folder on a Video CD.
• The combined play of Video CDs is not possible and the playback control
function (Video CD Version 2.0) is not supported.

No DVD Player menu appears
The program needs to be installed.
[FMV Pack2 is not installed.] is
displayed
The FMV Pack2 may be improperly installed.
Refer to "Preparations" (C?page 13).
[Files necessary to run the player

Files needed to run the player is missing or is corrupted.
It is necessary to reinstall the video driver.

[DVD Player initialization ,
failure.] is displayed
An error occurred during initialization of the player
application. This occurs when the color palette is set
to "16 Color", or when another application that is us¬
ing a large part of the video memory is running.
It is necessary to refer to the "Color palette"
(G'page 14) on the correct setting, or to close the
application that is using a large part of the video
memory and restart the player.
[Device specified is currently in
use by another application.] is dis¬

Hardware necessary for running the application is cur¬
rently being used by another application. It is necessary
to close the other application and restart the player.
[Application is already opened.] is
displayed
The player application has already been opened. It may
be hidden in another window.
[Yoiir disc may be invalid or the
disc tray is empty.] is displayed
The disc in the DVD Drive may not be a DVD-Video
disc or the disk tray may be empty. After the disc has
been set, please wait until the DVD drive indicator (@)
goes off. In addition, confirm whether or not the Drive
Path setting is correct (Refer to "Drive Path" in the
CF-63 Quick Guide).

You have forgotten the Password
to change the Parental Level
Select [Start] - [Run], input ["c:\Program Files\
Panasonic\ResetPWD.EXE"] and press Enter.
The password is reset.
