@® RECEIVER POWER button
Switches the receiver power between ON and STANDBY.
® Input selector buttons
Press when switching the receiver's input selector.
The CONTROL MODE also switches to the same component (except
VIDEO and PHONO). (One CONTROL MODE button lights.)
Pressing TAPE 1, TAPE 2 MONITOR, causes the CONTROL MODE
DECK II button to light.
@® V-EDIT button (GUI operation)
Press when the input selector is set to VIDEO, and Edit operation
indications are displayed at the top of the TV screen. While this
display is shown, you can use GUI functions for sound mixing and
AV fader operation.
Press once more, and the Edit operation display clears, indicating
that the Edit function is switched OFF.
@ MENU button (GUI operation)
Pressto get on-screen display of the operation menu for the compo-
nent selected with the input selector. When this display is shown,
you can use the GUI function to operate the component. (Operation
of @ component other than those in this unit's built-in tuner sectionis
only possible if it is connected to this unit by a control cord.)
To switch off the display, press this button once more, or select
"CLOSE!" in the Menu, and press the ENTER button.

@ RETURN button
Press this RETURN button to return the receiver into theinitial state.
TUNER is selected at this initial state. Adjust the sound level by using
the MASTER VOLUME control.
@ MUTING button
Use to temporarily mute the sound.
The volume is restored when pressed again.
@ DESIGN button (GUI operation)
@ PARAMETER button (GUI operation)
@ SYSTEM SELECTOR buttons (A, B, C, D)
Use to recall systems created by combining add-on wnaponent
functions with the DESIGN function.
@ MASTER VOLUME buttons (+, —)
Use to adjust the overall volume level.
