8. PRECAUTIONS
FOR MAINTENANCE
A
WARNING:
For reasons of safety, always follow
these safety precautions.
Spilled fuel and oil may cause you to slip, so always wipe it up immediately.
Always tighten the cap of the fuel and oil fillers securely.
Never use fuel for washing any parts.
Always add fuel and oil in a well-ventilated
place.
Replace the following fire-related components
periodically:
Fuel system:
Fuel hose, spilling hose, and fuel tube cap
Hydraulic system:
Pump outlet hose, and front and rear pump branch hoses
Replace these components periodically with new ones, regardless of whether or not they appear to be defective.
These components deteriorate over time.
Replace or repair any such components
if any defect is found, even though they have not reached the time
specified.

+ If it is necessary to add coolant to the radiator, stop the engine and allow the engine and
radiator to cool down before adding the coolant.
+ Slowly loosen the cap to relieve pressure before removing the cap.
+ When checking fuel, oil, coolant, or battery electrolyte, always use lighting
with anti-explosion
specifications.
If such lighting equipment is not used,
there is danger of explosion.
