An aitemafive language is not selected with discs which do not contain more than one language.
In the case of some discs, the alternative language cannot be selected by operating the [AUDIO[ or
[SUBTITLE]. TP/selecting it from the disc's menu if one is available, •
If the soundtrack and/or subtitle language does not exist on the disc, the language selected at the
initial settings will not be seen/heard.
Check the connections. •

If you have connected this unit to an amplifier through the audio output terminals, go to the initial
settings menu "8 Speaker Sefiing" and change the settings to suit your apsekem. Select "Yes" for all
the speakers you have connected. G
DVD-CV50 cannot decode DTS encoded discs. To enjoy DTS encoded discs, connect to an
amplifier that has a DTS Digital Surround decoder. •
If you have connected this unit to an amplifier (with built-in decoder) through the digital audio output
terminal, go to the initial settings menu =7 Digital Audio Output" and change the settings to
"Bitstraam" for "2 Dolby Digital_or "3 DTS Digital Surround'. •
Sound will only come from the two front speakers if V.S.S. is on. Turn V.S.S. off. •
You have selected an audio channel that includes a vocal channel. Read the disc's jacket to chcose
the correct channel. •
When you have connected this unit to other equipment through a DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal, go
to "7 Digital Audio Output" in the initial settings and change the setting for =2 Dolby Digital" to =PCM".
