On-Screen Menu Icons
On-Screen Menu _cons am long thin menus that contain information
about the disc or unit. These menus allow you to perform operations
by changing this information.
Examples of On-Screen Menu Icons []
The screens depend on the diSCcontents.

Press [DISPLAY] during play or in the
stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the TV monitor changes as
shown below.

eSome functions cannot be accessed from the stop mode.

Press the cursor buttons [<1, I_] to
select the item. _
The item is highlighted in yellow.

Press the cursor buttons [&, V]tose- °_=
lect the setting.
eFor some functions, the setting will be registered immediate-
ly; for others, (ENTER] or [1_ PLAY} must be pressed. !=
eWhen numbers are displayed (e.g. tibe No.), the numedc -
buttons are also effective for setting instead of the cursor
buttons [&, V]. When numbers are entered with numeric
buttons, press (ENTER] to register the setting.
To clear the On-Screen Menu Icons
Press [RETURN] or [CANCEL].
For your reference
eThe On-Screen Menu Icons may not be displayed when playing
some kinds of DVD software, or if the television's automatic picture
zoom function is on. Change the position of the On-screen Menu
Icons in "4 On-screen Messages" if this occurs (.+ page 33).
eThe color (blue, violet or green) of the On-screen Menu Icons can
be changed (,,+ page 33).
e"L_, _7" around the icon means that the item can be changed using
the cursor buttons [&, V].
