The supplied Remote
Commander does not
work.
Recording onto
another tape cannot be
made.
Recording from a TV or
a VCR cannot be
made.
There is dust inside the
viewfinder.
The REMOTE COMMANDER
button on the camcorder does
not pop up.
Something is blocking the
Remote Commander.
The remote sensor is hidden by
a part of the camcorder body.
The batteries are not inserted
with the correct polarity.
The batteries are dead.
The HOLD switch is working.
The OUTI/IN selector is set to IN.
The OUT/IN selector is set to
OUT.
Press REMOTE COMMANDER
lightly so the remote sensor
Pops up.
Take away the obstacle.
Point the Commander to the
remote sensor correctly.
Insert the batteries with the
correct polarity.
Replace with new ones.
Set the switch in the direction
opposite the arrow.
Set it to OUT.
Slide out the eyecup and clean
the viewfinder screen or
viewfinder lens.
