The color of the
playback is not
appropriate.
The playback picture is
not clear or is not
monitored.
No sound or only a low
sound is heard when
playing back a tape.

The AUTO LOCK switch is slid
down to the center position and
the white balance indicator is

STEREO.
Insert a battery or use a
charged battery.
Connect the adaptor to a wall
outlet.
Charge the battery pack again.
Use another battery pack.
Attach the battery pack or AC
power adaptor to the
camcorder.
Use a charged battery.
Remove the cassette and do
not use the camcorder for at
least an hour.
