This section describes alternative power sources you can use for your camcorder: battery pack (p.8), house
current and 12/24 V car battery. Choose the appropriate power source depending on where you want to use
your camcorder.

Use the supplied AC-V35 AC power adaptor. (1) Connect the power cord to a wall outlet. The green POWER
lamp lights. (2) Align the right side of the connecting plate with the white line on the camcorder and slide it to
the right.
To detach the connecting plate
The connecting plate is detached the same way as the battery pack (p.9).
Note on AC power adaptor
You cannot use the AC-V25 AC power adaptor (not supplied) with this camcorder.
Using a Car Battery
Use the DCP-77 DC pack (not supplied). (1) Connect the cord of the DC pack to the cigarette lighter socket of
the car (12 V or 24 V). (2) Align the right side of the DC pack with the white line on the camcorder, and slide it
to the right.
Other option
. You can also use the AC-V55 AC power adaptor and the DCC-16A car battery cord.
