You can preset the camcorder to record the picture with the desired contrast, color, sharpness and hue. Adjust
the camcorder, if necessary, after making several trial recordings.
When presetting, adjust the picture by shooting a subject and checking the picture displayed on a TV using the
menu system. For connecting a TV, see page 23. Press DISPLAY to display the menu on the TV. (1) Set the
camcorder to secording standby mode. (2) Press MENU. (3) Press v to move the cursor B to CUSTOM MODE.
(4) Press < or > to move @ to SET. (5) Press EXECUTE. The CUSTOM MODE menu appears. (6) Press v to
move P to the item you want to adjust. If
is set to RESET, press v once to move the cursor to the top. (7)
Press < or > to adjust the picture while shooting a subject and monitoring it on the TV. You can select three
steps each from the standard position. (8) Make sure that the cursor is not set to RESET and press EXECUTE.
The CUSTOM MODE menu disappears and the settings are stored in memory.
