@ ADJUSTING THE PARAMETERS

For optimum surround sound performance, adjust the parameters as desired.

1. Select the DOLBY PRO LOGIC or DOLBY 3 STEREO mode with the SURROUND MODE button.

2. Select the desired center mode with the CENTER MODE button.

3. Press the TEST TONE button to adjust the test tone volume level from each speaker.

4. Adjust the overall sound volume with the MASTER VOLUME control or buttons until the test tone volume level

is ata comfortable level.

5. Press the CENTER LEVEL and REAR LEVEL UP/DOWN buttons until the volume level from each speaker is

approximately the same.

6. Press the TEST TONE button to turn the test tone off.

The test tone will continue unless the TEST TONE button is pressed to turn it off.

7. Adjust the delay time as desired with the DELAY TIME button.

NOTES :

¢ When in the PHANTOM mode, there is no sound from the center speaker.

¢ When in the DOLBY 3 STEREO mode, there is no sound from the rear speakers and the delay time needs not be

adjusted.
