@) TREBLE CONTROL
Adjust the high frequency level with this control according to your taste and room acoustics.
¢ Be careful not to overdrive the speakers with the bass and treble control.
@® BALANCE CONTROL
Adjust the sound volume balance between front left and right speakers with this control.
@ VCR2 SELECTOR SWITCH
Push this switch in to select the VCR2 on the front, or push it out to select the VCR2 on the rear.
@ VCR 2/CAMCORDER INPUT JACKS
Connect these jacks to the corresponding OUTPUT jacks of a extra VCR or a camcorder.
5 INPUT FUNCTION SELECTOR BUTTONS
Press the button to select the desired program source; PHONO, AM, FM, TAPEI, CD, VCR2 or VCR1.
TAPE 2 MONITOR BUTTON
When performing playback or recording on the cassette deck connected to the TAPE 2 MONITOR jacks, press this
button so that the TAPE 2 MONITOR indicator lights up.
When another input source is selected the TAPE2 MONITOR will automatically turn off.
@ RESET BUTTON
If normal operation is impossible because of external influences such as static electricity, etc. or even when function
buttons are pressed, turn the power off and press and hold down this button for more than 5 seconds.
When resetting or in power failure for more than 2 weeks, etc., because the programmed contents are all cleared, you
should reprogram all presets.

STANDBY/MUTE INDICATOR
This indicator lights up when in the standby mode and flickers when the mute button is pressed.
REMOTE SENSOR
This receives the signals from the remote control unit.
@) SURROUND MODE BUTTON
Press this button to select the desired surround mode.
Each time this button is pressed, the mode changes as follows.
— DOLBY PRO LOGIC — DOLBY 3 STEREO — OFF 7
@) CENTER MODE BUTTON
Press this button to select the desired center mode when in the DOLBY PRO LOGIC or DOLBY 3 STEREO mode.
Each time this button is pressed, the center mode changes as follows.
¢ DOLBY PRO LOGIC mode :
- DOLBY 3 STEREO mode :
C NORMAL — WIDE — PHANTOM 7
ie NORMAL — WIDE
