Troubleshooting

Cutting set cuts badly or snags
Cause: Cutting set is dirty or worn.
f Clean and oil the cutting set (Fig. 5). If this does not solve the problem,
replace the cutting set (Fig. 8).

Cause: Too much pressure applied on the skin.
f Reduce the pressure when cutting close to the skin.

Cause: Shearing blade protrudes beyond the shearing comb.

f 2 Loosen the screws of the shearing comb (fig. 8) and adjust the shear-
ing blade correctly (fig. 7). See chapter "Replacing the cutting set".

Cause: Damaged cutting set.
f Check whether any tooth tips have been damaged during use and

replace the cutting set if necessary.

Battery life is too short

Cause: A dirty and un-oiled cutting set reduces the available battery life
considerably!

f Clean and oil the cutting set conscientiously (Fig. 7). If the battery life is
still far too short, the battery is probably at the end of its performance

f Fully discharge the appliance and then fully charge it again in an unin-

The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Dispose of them in
an environmentally friendly manner and recycle the packaging.
