f Only operate the appliance with the operating voltage
specified on the type plate of the appliance or on the plug-in
power supply.
f Only operate the appliance with the plug-in power supply

Charge the battery
1. Use the on/off switch to switch the appliance off (Fig. 2 - 2).
2. Insert the appliance connection plug of the plug-in power supply into
the appliance socket (Fig. 4 - 1).
·
Intelligent charging management prevents overcharging of
the battery.
·
The ideal ambient temperature for charging is between 15 °C
and 35 °C.
3. Plug the plug-in power supply into the mains socket (Fig. 4 - 2).
 The charging process begins.
·
During charging, the battery capacity indicator (E) lights up
red. When the battery is fully charged, the battery capacity
indicator lights up in a constant green.
Battery operation
1. Switch the appliance on with the on/off switch (Fig. 2 - 1).
·
The battery charge level is indicated by the battery capacity
indicator (E):
– LED off = 100 % - 10
red
– LED flashes
= 10 % - 0 %
·
When the battery is discharged, the appliance switches off
automatically.
2. Use the on/off switch to switch off the appliance after use (Fig. 2 - 2).
Mains operation
Caution! Damage caused by using the hair clipper
with the plug-in power supply permanently plugged in
(mains operation).
The hair clipper is not intended to be used with a plug-in power
supply permanently plugged in (mains operation). The con-
nection cable of the plug-in power supply is not designed for
mechanical stress in continuous operation.
f Mains operation is only recommended for a short time, in
case of an empty battery.
3. Insert the appliance connection plug of the plug-in power supply into
the appliance socket (Fig. 4 - 1).
4. Plug the plug-in power supply into the mains socket (Fig. 4 - 2).
5. Switch the appliance on with the on/off switch (Fig. 2 - 1).
6. Use the on/off switch to switch the appliance off again after use
(Fig. 2 - 2).
