Head assembly
1.
Remove the cassette mechanism.

Unsolder the flexible wire on the relay PCB, and remove

the 2 screws © fixing the head assembly(Figure 10}.
Notice for installing the head assembly
The direction of the head for forward or reverse mode is
switched by the cam gear.
The point of the rib for the head assembly installation differs

Pinch roller arm assembly removal (FWD / REV) .

Release the pinch roller return spring from the hook

Remove the hook fixing the pinch roller assembly, and
remove the pinch roller assem bly (Figure 9).

Remove the mechanism block.
Remove the reel motor PCB.
Remove the FR arm assembly {Figure 10).
Remove the screws @ fixing the motor.
Release the pawl fixing the motor and remove the
motor.

Capstan motor removal
1.
Remove the mechanism block.
Remove the system controller PCB.
Remove the reef motor PCB.
Remove the 4 screws @ fixing the bracket (Figure 5}.
Release the pawl fixing the bracket and remove the

capstan motor with the bracket.
6.
Remove the 2 screws fixing the motor on the bracket

. and remave the motor from the bracket.
