Function Selection
Press the MENU key.
5 A menu number will appear in the display.
3. Select the desired menu number by rotating the M.CH/ VFO CH control.
4. Change the function by pressing the UP/DOWN keyes on the front panel.
5. To return to the normal frequency display press the MENU key again.

Audio from the Main and Sub receivers is supplied simultaneously to the external
speaker jack and internal speaker.
2: COMPLETE SEPARATION
The internal speaker provides Sub receiver audio and the external speaker provides

Main receiver audio.
Spot" 500kHz marker control ON/OFF
When this function is ON, a marker signal is heard every 500 kHz.
(CAUTION
Menu number 11 will only enable an IF and AF mute function. It will not protect the front end of the transceiver.
Make sure you connect the ANT terminal to ground when transmitting on the other transceiver.
