Installer's Information
Note: When stripping back the wires ends from the BX cable,
they should be stripped back appropriately 1/2" (13 mm) for both
120VAC or 240VAC applications.
FOR 120VAC APPLICATIONS:
The following instructions must be followed to install a 3-wire
Romex cable to the terminal.
1. Connect the ground wire (green) to the ground terminal.
2. Connect the line input neutral wire (white) to the N terminal.
3. Connect the line input voltage wire (black) to the L1 terminal.
4. Make sure that no wire is connected to the L2 terminal.

FOR 240VAC APPLICATIONS:
The following instructions must be followed to install a 4-wire
Romex cable to the terminal.
1. Connect the ground wire (green) to the ground terminal.
2. Connect the line input neutral wire (white) to the N terminal.
3. Connect the line input voltage wire (black) to the L1 terminal.
4. Connect the line input voltage wire (red) to the L2 terminal.

FOR ALL APPLICATIONS
IMPORTANT
Ensure all connections are right and there are no exposed wires.
Tighten Romex strain relief and reattach junction box cover plate.
Inspect that the correct volage is slected on the selector switch
located inside the unit. Failure to do so could damage the product.
Replace terminal block cover plate and retaining screws.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION
This appliance comes standard with a 4 sided finishing trim. The
appliance can be installed with the 4 sided finishing trim only or as
a 3 sided by removing the bottom trim. See below.
Uninstall the bottom trim by removing these 4 screws. See below. The
bottom trim is not required and may be recycled along with the 4 screws.
Also offered are the flush faceplate, backing plate & custom backing
plate which can be used to cover openings which are larger than the
3/4 sided finishing trim or to enhance appearance.
