5.2 Disassembly

1. Before inserting device into its mounting connection, ensure threads are of the same type to
avoid damaging them.
2. Screw device into process connection and hand tighten, or use a strap wrench to seat gasket
if required (1/4 turn past hand tight is recommended).
The process connection should be checked periodically following the initial installation, and
retightened accordingly.

Incorrect disassembly
The following risks may result from incorrect disassembly:
- Injury through electric shock
- Risk through emerging media when connected to the process
- Risk of explosion in hazardous area
In order to disassemble correctly, observe the following:
