R-UIM Lock
In the R-UIM Lock tab, you can enable or disable the R-
UIM Lock feature. When this feature is enabled, your
phone only works with the current R-UIM card.
To enable the R-UIM Lock feature, select Enable and then
tap the Change button. When you are asked to enter the
password, enter the password in the Password field.
Once you have entered the lock code, you are asked to
confirm it by entering it again. You must enter a four- to
eight-digit R-UIM Lock code. Then tap the OK button.
"Enable" appears in the Current status field.
To disable the feature, select Disable and then tap the
Change button. "Disable" appears in the Current status
field.
My Phone #
In the My Phone # tab, you can change the default
number registered on the current R-UIM card to the
actual subscriber number. Once you enter the phone
number, your phone number is displayed when you call
somebody or send a message to somebody.
Enter the actual subscriber number in the Edit My Phone
# field and tap the Save button. You must enter a ten- to
eleven-digit phone number.
Clear memory
In the Clear memory tab, you can erase your phonebook
and messages stored in the R-UIM card and reset your R-
UIM card to the factory setting. Select the option you
want from Phone Book, Message and All and then tap
the Select button.The Notice dialog box appears.Tap OK
to reset it and the phone turns itself off and reboots.
Otherwise tap Cancel.
