Status Bar
On the top line of the screen, the status bar displays
icons to show your PDA phone's current status. You may
see the following icons:
Signal Strength: Shows the received signal
strength. The greater the number of bars, the
better the signal.
Phone Off: Appears when you turn your phone
mode off.
Service: Appears when a call is in progress or
you establish a data connection using an application,
such as U-Info, Web Browser or Instant Messenger.
No Service: Appears when you are outside a
service area. When it appears, you cannot make
or receive calls.
New Message: Appears when a new message is
received in Inbox in Message Box. Tap to view the
received message in Message Box quickly.
Missed Call: Appears when you are unable to
answer a call. Tap to view the missed call when you
are using other application.
Alarm: Appears when you set an alarm to ring at a
specified time.
Roaming: Appears when you are out of your home
area and have logged onto a different network,
when travelling in other countries, for example.
Data Connection: Appears when you establish a
data connection using an application, such as U-
Info, Web Browser or Instant Messenger.
