Messaging
With Message Box, you can create then send or receive
the Short Message Service (SMS) and e-mail messages.
To access Message Box:
In the Launcher Mode, tap
Launcher and select Message Box.
Sending a Message
You can send a text message via the SMS center
provided by your service network. You can also create e-
mail messages online or offline and then send the
messages.
Sending a SMS Message
1. On the Message Box screen, tap
Your number
displays.You can
change the number
from Phone Setup/R-
UIM/My Phone #,
see page 4-30.
Enter text.
Tap to send the
message.
Message Box
the screen. You can also use Tool and then New.
to open the Phone
at the bottom of
Enter a recipient's
number. If you select
the number from the
Addressbook, tap the
To button.
Text Entry icon. Tap it
to hide or display the
Text Entry screen. To
change the text input
mode, tap the arrow
next to the icon.
