Using the FSIM Mode

You can write anywhere on the screen using the stylus
just as you would a pencil on paper, and the FSIM mode
presents characters that resemble your writing from
which you can choose.
When the Text Entry icon appears, tap the arrow next to
it, and then select FSIM.
The FSIM screen displays. Use the following keys on the
screen:

: Allows you to enter Chinese characters.
: Allows you to enter English characters.
: Allows you to enter numbers.
: Allows you to enter special characters.
: Allows you to switch between the Simplified Chinese
and Traditional Chinese.
: Moves the cursor to the right within the text field.
: Tap to use the pop-up menu. The following menus
are available:
• Color: allows you to change the text color. Select
the color in the color field.
• Multi chars, Single char: allows you to use words
or a single character. See page 2-9.
• Upper chars only or Lower chars only: allows
you to enter a letter in upper or lowercase.
