Menu functions
Erase all: deactivate control of all of the items
you have registered.
5. Press <Yes>.
File transfer
(Menu 8.5.2)
Using this menu, you can send or receive various data,
such as Phonebook entries, name cards, photos via
the IrDA port.
• For optimal communication, the IrDA ports
between the two phones should be within close
range of each other.
• If the phones use conflicting IrDA protocol, the
IrDA ports may not work properly.
• If you are interrupted by an incoming call while
transferring data, the data transfer may be
interrupted.
Receiving data
1. Select Receive mode.
2. Select the memory location to which received data
will be saved.

3. Align the IrDA ports
between the phones, as
shown. The IrDA port
must be oriented within
15 degrees of each other.
The received data is
automatically saved in
the corresponding folder.
4. When you have finished, press <Select>.
Sending data
1. Select one of Send name card, Send
phonebook, or Send my album.
2. To send all data, select All. The data is sent.
To send the selected data, select Selection or the
file category. Continue to the next step.
3. Press <Check> to check the files you want.
4. Press <Transmit> or <Transm>.
