3.3 Service Schedule for 32-40EKOZD/28-35EFKOZD Models

Perform Service at Intervals Indicated (X)
FUEL SYSTEM
Check the fuel level and fill as necessary
Check for any unusual noise †
Remove the sediment from the fuel tank and
drain the fuel tank †§
Bleed the fuel system (if encountering hard
starting)
Replace the fuel filter cartridge *
Fuel/water separator draining, if equipped *†
Fuel/water separator cleaning, if equipped *†
Inspect, clean, and test the fuel injectors *†‡
Inspect the fuel injection nozzle pressure *†‡
Replace the fuel line hoses †
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Check the crankcase oil level and add oil
as necessary
Replace the oil in the crankcase *
Replace the lube oil filter element *
COOLING SYSTEM
Check the coolant level and fill as necessary *
Check the seawater outlet and clean as
necessary
Check the function of the siphon break, if
equipped
Check/replace the seawater pump impeller and
check for leaks *†
Overhaul the seawater pump *†
Replace the seawater pump *†
Replace the coolant *†
Check/replace the heat exchanger
anticorrosion zinc anode *†
Clean the heat exchanger tube *†
Clean the charge air cooler (intercooler)
40EKOZD and 35EFKOZD Models Only *†
Check/replace the coolant hoses *†
* Requires removal of the sound shield door, if installed
