Connecting the Ethernet cable
NOTICE
Network connection
The SICHARGE UC devices form a closed network.
Do not establish a connection to other networks and devices.
Observe the specifications for the routing of Ethernet cables in the section Location planning
(Page 32).
1. Insert the Ethernet cable into the SICHARGE UC Dispenser.
2. Route the cable to the shield terminal.
Ground the Ethernet cable as close as possible to the entry point of the control cabinet.

3. Hold the Ethernet cable on a clamp of the shield terminal.
4. Record the position of the clamp on the sheath of the cable.
5. Expose the braided shield of the marked area around the entire cable.
6. Push the cable, at the exposed point, into the clamp of the shield terminal.
7. Check the contact between the clamp and the cable shield.
8. Route the cable further to the Ethernet switch.
9. Insert the RJ45 plug of the Ethernet cable into a free connection of the SICHRAGE UC
Dispenser Ethernet switch -KF22.
NOTE
Assembling the Industrial Ethernet connector
Follow the instructions of the connector manufacturer to assemble the Industrial Ethernet
connector.
