ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 11
NOTE: The RIGHT PEDAL(32) has an R stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The RIGHT PEDAL(32)
has right hand threads and is tightened by turning clockwise. The LEFT PEDAL(31) has an L
stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The LEFT PEDAL(31) has left hand threads and is tightened
by turning counterclockwise.
Thread the RIGHT PEDAL(32) to the RIGHT CRANK(34) as shown. Tighten the pedal securely. The
shoulder of the PEDALS(31, 32) should be in contact with the CRANKS(33, 34) when securely tightened.
Select the RIGHT PEDAL STRAP(118) which has an R marked on the bottom side of the strap. Snap the
three hole end to the inside edge of the RIGHT PEDAL(32). Snap the other end to the outside edge of the
RIGHT PEDAL(32). Select adjustment holes which allow your foot to be easily removed from the pedals.
Repeat on the right side in order to attach the LEFT PEDAL(31) to the LEFT CRANK(33) and snap the
LEFT PEDAL STRAP(117) to the LEFT PEDAL(31).
STEP 12
Install two AA batteries into the METER(14), the batteries are not included. See page 13 for
detailed battery installation instructions. Plug the SENSOR WIRE(82) and PULSE WIRES(113) into the
connecting wires on the METER(14), and push the excess wires back into the MAIN FRAME(1). Slide the
METER(14) onto the METER BRACKET(8).
STEP 13
Attach the HAND STRAPS(115) to TENSION CORDS(95, 98) with the HOOK(127) on both
sides. Attach the ANKLE CUFF(116) to TENSION CORDS(95, 98) with the HOOK(127) on the back side.
