Communication Example of Safety
Communication
This section describes the communication example of the system using the Safety CPU.

System configuration example

The following system configuration is used to explain communications using the Safety CPU.
System configuration
• Power supply module: R61P
• Safety CPU: R08SFCPU
• Safety function module: R6SFM
• Motion module: RD78G16
• Drive unit: MR-J5-G-RJ
• Remote I/O module with safety functions: NZ2GNSS2-16DTE

In this program example, I/O devices are connected to X0, X1 (double input) and Y0, Y1 (double output) of the remote station.
For combination with connection device, refer to "Relevant functions" under "Connectable device to CC-Link IE TSN" in the
following manual.
