Fuel Filter Maintenance
The fuel filter is incorporated in the fuel
valve

which is mounted on the bottom
of the fuel tank at the left side. Ac-
cumulation of dirt in the filter will
restrict the flow of fuel and cause the
carburetors to malfunction ; therefore , the
fuel filter should be serviced periodically.

Turn fuel valve to "OFF" position and
unscrew the filter cup
®.
Remove the
0-ring seal ® and the filter screen © can
be lifted out. Wash the filter screen in
solvent and reassemble. Turn the fuel
valve to the " ON" position and check for
leaks.
