1-1. Checking before Installation

1-1-1. Checking the ROM and Software Version

When connecting the peripheral equipment in the list below to F35, be sure to check
that the ROM and software version on each peripheral device is corresponding to the
camera to be connected.
If the ROM and software version is lower than the specified below, be sure to
perform ROM replacement and updating the software.
If ROM replacement and updating the software are required, contact your local Sony
Sales Office/Service Center.

Even when the ROM versions specified by MSU and RM in the table are used, the
shutter and ECS of F35 can be controlled, but the values cannot be displayed
correctly.

1-1-2. Checking the Software Version of SRW-1

When the SRW-1 mounted on the F35, be sure to check the software version on the
SRW-1.
The SRW-1 with the software ver. 2.30 or higher can be mounted on the F35.
If the software version is lower than ver. 2.30, contact your local Sony Sales Office/
Service Center.
