Technical specifications of the absolute encoders

Description of multiturn absolute encoders
This encoder outputs an absolute angular position between 0° and 360° in the specified
resolution. In addition, the encoder can distinguish 4096 revolutions. With a ball screw, for
example, the encoder can determine the absolute position of the slide over a long distance.
Description: Singleturn absolute encoder
This encoder outputs an absolute angular position between 0° and 360° in the specified
resolution. Contrary to a multiturn absolute encoder, the singleturn absolute encoder can
only supply the position value within just one revolution. The singleturn absolute encoder
does not have a traversing range.
