Securing the Interactive Pen Display

You can secure the interactive pen display by attaching a Kensington® cable and lock device (not
supplied) between an immovable object and the Kensington slot that's built into the back of the
unit.
Turning on the Interactive Pen Display
Press the Power button in the top right corner.
Power Button
Press the Power button again to turn off the interactive pen display.

Orienting the Screen

Although there are three orientation levels available, we recommend that you orient using the
Quick (4-Point) orientation level. For more information on orienting and changing the orientation
level, refer to the SMART Board Software User's Guide that came with your MP250-DT.
Matching the Screen and Computer Resolutions
For best results, set the internal computer's resolution to match the interactive pen display's native
resolution of 1280 × 1024 (SXGA) and set the computer's vertical refresh rate to 60 Hz or 75 Hz.
You must use the mouse to do this.
CAUTION
Do not set the resolution of the internal computer to greater than 1280 × 1024
(SXGA).
NOTE: If you're integrating your MP250-DT with a projector, you must set the internal computer's
resolution to match the projector's resolution. For example, if your projector supports XGA (1024 x
768) but not SXGA (1280 x 1024), set your computer's resolution to 1024 x 768.
