Spindle rotation and operation in manual mode

(1) Spindle rotation button
This button is used to rotate the spindle in the selected direction.
Forward direction : Clockwise direction viewing a workpiece from the spindle
Reverse direction : Counter-clockwise direction viewing a workpiece from the spindle
The rotation speed of spindle needs to be commanded in advance. in the case that
spindle rotation is not commanded automatically after NC power is turned ON initially,
spindle manual operation cannot cause actual rotation
Starting spindle in manual mode.
1) Select the spindle to be rotated with the [Spindle Selection]buttons
2) Select any of manual operation mode
3) Close the door
4) Press the spindle rotation button.

Rotation
Jogging
(2) Manual stop on rotating spindle
1. After commanding spindle stop, spindle will not stop instantly but decelerate and
stop. Therefore check that the spindle stops completely before opening the front
door. To open the front door without checking that spindle stops may cause
accident.

Press the switch shown in left side, then spindle on rotating will stop.
However, stop switch operation is only valid in manual mode (handle mode,
jog mode, ref. return mode).
Operation sequence
① Select the spindle to be rotated.
② Press the spindle CW rotation button to rotate
the selected spindle in forward direction.
① Select the spindle to be rotated.
② Press the spindle CCW rotation button to rotate
the selected spindle in reverse direction.
① Select the spindle to be rotated.
② Press jogging select switch.
③ Forward rotation will be operated only during
pressing jogging select button
