Collision-Avoidance Assist (while driving)
• To warn the driver of a collision, the
warning light on the side view mirror
blinks and a warning message appears
on the cluster. At the same time, an
audible warning sounds.
• Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist
operates when your vehicle speed is
between 40-120 mph (60-200 km/h)
and both lane markings of the driving
lane are detected.
• Emergency braking is assisted to help
prevent a collision with the vehicle in
the blind spot area.
• Collision-Avoidance Assist is
canceled under the following
circumstances:
- Your vehicle enters the next lane
- Your vehicle is away from the
- The steering wheel is sharply

- The brake pedal is depressed
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
• After Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Assist operation or changing lane,
you must drive to the center of the
lane. Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Assist will not operate if the vehicle is
not driven in the center of the lane.
