spreader bar from the side frame. Refer to STOR-

ING/REPLACING THE SPREADER BAR in PRO-
CEDURE 9 of this manual.

2. WHEELCHAIRS WITH STROLLER HANDLES

ONLY - Raise or lower one (1) of the stroller handles

two (2) hole heights. Refer to PROCEDURE 10 of

this manual.

3. WHEELCHAIRS WITH SOLID SEAT AND/OR

SOLID BACK INSERTS ONLY - remove the solid

seat or solid back insert before attempting to close

the wheelchair. Refer to PROCEDURE 10 of this
manual.
4. Perform one (1) of the following:
A. Remove legrests
B. Swing footrest/legrest in locked position to the front
of the wheelchair. Pivot footplates and calf pads
upward to vertical position.
5. With both hands, grasp the middle of the seat uphol-
stery at the front and back edge and lift up. Or, tilt the
wheelchair to one side and close by the push handles.
