A frame relay path is automatically created and named. It is
necessary to modify this path to add an IP address and subnet
mask. Connect the cable to your frame relay network or
switch and type the following (the path name used here is an
example only):
box# mod pa frr/w01-p01

If you are in North America, you can order your Nautica
CLAM with a factory installed ISDN-U TA module.
The ISDN-U TA module has an extra green LED, located in
the top right corner of the ISDN connector. This LED has the
following operation:
Flashes at 8Hz (rapid flashing) for 0.5 seconds when the
CLAM is attempting to establish a link between the
ISDN-U TA module and the ISDN network switch.
Flashes at 1Hz (slow flashing) when a link is established
and the CLAM is operating normally, whether or not it is
sending data.
Is off if the unit is not receiving a signal. This means that
the CLAM is not connected to the telephone line or the
ISDN network switch is not responding. Contact the
telephone company if you believe the ISDN network
switch is not responding.
The LED should not remain on constantly. If it does, there is
a faulty electrical connection inside the Nautica CLAM, and
you should seek technical support as follows:
