Reinstalling the Software

Installing Remote Access Concentrator Software for UNIX

You can reinstall the software or Annex Manager using the installation
script and tar files that were copied to the hard drive during the initial
installation.
To reinstall the software:
1. Log on the host system as root.
su
Password:
2. Change to the install directory.
cd /usr/annex
3. Start the install script.
setup/install
4. When the script prompts you for the type of installation, enter 4
for Reinstall from previously extracted software on hard drive.
What type of install will be performed?
1. Floppy Disks
2. Tape
3. Tarfile previously copied to hard disk
4. Reinstall from previously extracted
software on hard drive
5. Quit
Enter the install source type [1]: 4
5. At the next prompt, specify the installation directory for the
location of the extracted files.
Enter the name of the Annex Software Installation
Directory
Directory Name: /usr/annex/ra_R14.0
Continue the installation as described in
on page 2-2.
