    POWER ON/OFF: Touch this symbol to switch the extractor hood to the ON or OFF position. When the extractor hood is switch to ON position, all the symbol backlights on the control panel, Rinnai logo and the decorative lights will light up at the same time including the numerical 0 on the display window.

  • Page 9 To set up clean and fresh function after cooking, set the fan increase/decrease symbol to 0 on the display window. Turn OFF the LED light panel by touching and holding the light symbol for approximately 1 second. Touch and hold the timer symbol for approximately 3 seconds.

    Care and Maintenance Warning: Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance activities, ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the main power supply. Components inside the appliance may have sharp edges. Wear protective gloves. Cleaning Agents To ensure that the different surfaces are not damaged by using the wrong cleaning product, follow the instructions in the table.
  • Page 11 Metal Grease Filter Warning: It is important to regularly clean and/or replace the metal grease filters at appropriate intervals as grease deposits build-up increases the risk of fire. Do not operate the extractor hood without any grease filters installed. Components inside the appliance may have sharp edges. It is advisable that you wear protective gloves.
  • Page 12 Dismantling the Two Piece Metal Grease Filters (Fig.2, Fig.2a)  To dismantle, hold the metal grease filter down and slide the top piece metal grease filter out. Remove the grease filter components and separate the inner and outer grease filter (Fig. 1) Fig.
  • Page 13 Installing the Metal Grease Filter  Insert back the metal grease filter and lock it in place, at the same time take hold of the grease filter from underneath using your other hand to insert into the grease filter holder, make sure the grease filter is positioned correctly.
