Other Possible Operations During a Call

Use the Scratchpad
Adjust the earpiece volume
Add the caller to the contact list

Do This
If you input keypad characters during a call, the input
characters will remain displayed on the screen after the call is
finished. You can use this function as a screen scratchpad.
Press the Up or Down key, and on Earpiece Volume
displayed, use the Up or Down key to adjust the volume level.
Press the SK1 (Done) key when you finish adjusting.
While talking, press the SK2 (Submenu) key and select Add
to Contacts.
While talking, press and hold the Up key to search the category
list or the Down key to search the alphabetical list.
While talking, press the SK1 (Vc Note) key to record the
conversation. (20 seconds max.) (Refer to Voice Notes on
page 115 for details.)
You can send Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) signals
during a call. Just input the keypad character needed. You
cannot send DTMF during a video call.
While talking, press the SK2 (Submenu) key and select Hold.
The call will be put on hold. To retrieve the call, press the SK2
(Submenu) key and select End hold. You cannot put a call on
hold during a video call.
When a third call is received while already there are two calls
on line, the current call and the call held, you can receive the
third call only if you end one of the current/held calls.
Press the SK2 (Submenu) key and select the appropriate
option to end the current/held call.
