WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
Servicing the isolation cabinet requires access to
parts which may cause electric shock or other
serious injury if work is not performed properly.
Do not install or service the isolation cabinet
unless you are trained and qualified.
Comply with all local codes and regulations.
Follow the service procedures in your system
manual before servicing the isolation cabinet.
MOVING PARTS HAZARD
Moving parts, such as the isolation valve, can cut or
amputate fingers. Before checking, moving, or
servicing the isolation cabinet, follow the Pressure
Relief Procedure in your HydroShield manual and
disconnect all power sources.

Installation Setup

Prepare the System for Service
Follow the procedures in your system manual to
prepare the system for service. See Related Manuals,
page 2.
1. Discharge the voltage in the system.
2. Flush the system.
3. Relieve the pressure.
4. Press the stop button on the control interface and
unplug the power cord.
Remove Gun Flush Box Components
If your manual system has gun flush box capabilities,
then remove the gun flush box air lines from the
system.
The new automatic signals will connect to these
bulkhead locations. Converted systems do not have

gun flush box capabilities. See bulkhead locations in
F
. 5.

NOTE: Converted systems that had gun flush box
capabilities will have a fourth pressure switch that will
no longer be used.
Install Electronics Control Panel
Components
Access the Electronics Control Panel
1. Open the isolation cabinet door with a flat blade
screwdriver.
2. Remove the four hex screws on the electronics
control panel and pull off the cover.
Upper DIN Rail Components
Install the following components from right to left on the
upper DIN rail. See F
. 1.

1. Install the ERI optocoupler (A) next to the existing
optocoupler, and match the orientation.
2. Install the LPO optocoupler (B) in the opposite
orientation.
3. Install terminal blocks (C11-C14). Label the
blocks11-14 with the provided labels (13). Discard
labels 15-20.
