Prime Empty System

Prime Solvent Flush Pump

Follow instructions if the optional solvent flush pump kit
is used.
1. Connect the flush pail ground wire to a metal pail of
solvent.
2. Place the siphon tube and the solvent circulation
hose (BG) in the pail of solvent.

3. Open the solvent prime valve (BE) on the solvent
pump (BA) outlet.
4. Open the solvent pump air valve (DA). Slowly turn
the solvent pump air regulator (DB) clockwise to
prime the solvent pump and route solvent back to
the pail. Close the solvent pump fluid valve (BE) and
air valve (DA).

5. Open the solvent flush valve (AD) on the mix mani-
fold.

6. Ensure the trigger lock is engaged. Remove the
spray tip.

7. Disengage the trigger lock and trigger the gun into a
grounded pail. Use a pail lid with a hole to dispense
through. Seal around the hole and gun with a rag to
prevent splash back. Be careful to keep fingers
away from the front of the gun.

8. Open the solvent pump air valve (DA). Slowly turn
the solvent pump air regulator (DB) clockwise to
prime the solvent pump and push air out of the mix
hose and gun. Trigger the gun until all air is purged.
9. Close the solvent pump air valve (DA) and trigger
the gun to relieve pressure. Engage the trigger lock.

10. Close the solvent flush valve (AD).
NOTE: Solvent pump air and pressure may be left
on while spraying. Never spray mixed material with-
out the solvent pump and hose primed with solvent.
