Connecting the HDMI input

1. Connect the HDMI output of your output equipment (like a Blu-ray disc player)
to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2/DVI terminal on the display using an HDMI cable
(not provided).

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed and all-digital
audio/video interface. HDMI provides an interface between any audio/video source,
such as a set-top box, DVD player, or A/V receiver over a single cable. To ensure
the stability and performance of signal transmission, it is recommended that you
use high-quality and certified cable for connection
This display's HDMI input terminals are compliant with the HDMI 1.2 standard, and
support video resolutions up to 1080p. Be aware that HDMI input must be HDCP-
compliant to be displayed.
If you connect this display's HDMI 1 or HDMI 2/DVI terminal to the HDMI output
terminal of a PC, set the HDMI/DVI Input option in the Setup menu of the display to
PC, and it is recommended that you use the PC's audio device to play the audio.
