Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
Installation of HS data (Windows 95)
After completion of the printer driver installation, the attached
"head shading data" should be copied to the personal computer.
The head shading data is used to compensate the properties of each
BJ line head and print beautiful uniform images.
Head shading data exclusively used for the BubbleJet line head
installed to your ColorCoder V4 printer is supplied in the same
packaging as the printer. The file name of the head shading data is
the 5 smaller digits of the serial No. of the ColorCoder V4 printer,
which is also indicated on the label of the floppy disk. When
multiple ColorCoder V4 printers are used, check the file name of the
corresponding head shading data and then follow the procedure
below.
. Set the "Head shading data" to the floppy disk drive (drive A).
1
. Click on "My Computer" on the desk top twice. "My Computer"
2
folder is displayed.
. Click on the floppy disk icon "3.5 inch FD (A:\)" twice. "A:\"
3
folder is displayed.
When setting to a floppy disk drive other than the drive A, click
on the icon of that drive (e.g. "3.5 inch FD (B:\)") twice.
. "HS_DATA" folder in the folder in which the Windows is
4
installed is displayed. Click on the "C:\" icon of the "My
computer" folder and click on the "Windows" folder and
"HS_DATA" folder twice in this order.
Windows has been usually installed to "C:\ WINDOWS" folder.
If it is installed to other drive or folder, display that folder. Above
screen shows a case where Windows is installed to the
"C:\Windows" folder.
