3) Initial position of the looper thread trimmer mechanism

When the lower knife ❶ is locat-

ed at its leftmost position, the top
end of the lower knife ❶ has to be
spaced 24 ± 0.5 mm from the center
of needle bar. Perform the adjust-
ment by loosening the nut ❷ .
(Caution) 1. Perform the work with
the needle bar at the
highest position when
actuating the thread
trimmer mechanism by
hand.
2. Perform the adjust-
ment by setting the air
pressure to 0.5 MPa.
When the lower knife ❶ moves from right to left,
the lower knife guide holder ❹ should lightly
comes in contact with the guide ❸ .
