8. 下メス高さの調整 /
Adjusting the height of the lower knife
ルーパー @1 と下メス 4 の隙間を調整します。
1) 針棒を最上点にしてください。
2) エアシリンダー 3 を右方向に動作させると、 下
メス 4 が左方向に突き出ます。
3) 下メス 4 下面とルーパー @1 上面の隙間が 0 ∼
0.1mm となるように、 ガイド !9 の止めねじ @0
を緩めてから上下に動かします。
4) 調整後、止めねじ @0 を締め、エアシリンダー 3
を手動で動作させ、糸切り装置がスムースに動
くことを確認してください。
糸切り機構を手動で動作させる場合には、針
棒最上点において行ってください。

Initial position of the lower thread trimmer mechanism
エアシリンダー3が最左点時、 下メスホルダー5右端面
と糸切り取付台 !5 右端面が一致するように調整します。
1) ピンねじ !3 を取り外してください。
2) 調節リンク!4 の ねじ部を時計方向に回すと下メスホ
ルダー 5 は左へ、反時計方向に回すと下メスホル
ダー 5 は右へ動きます。
3) ピンねじ !3 を取り付けて下メスホルダー 5 の位置
を確認してください。
Adjust so that the right-hand edge of lower knife holder 5
aligns with the right-hand edge of thread trimmer installing
base !5 when air cylinder 3 moves to the extreme left position.
1) Remove pin screw !3 .
2) When turning the screw section of adjustment link !4
clockwise, lower knife holder 5 moves to the left and
when turning counterclockwise, lower knife holder 5
moves to the right.
3) Install pin screw !3 and make sure of the position of lower
knife holder 5.
エアシリンダー 3 が最左点時、メス土台 !6 とストッ
パー !8 の位置を調整します。
1) 止めねじ !7 を緩めて、メス土台 !6 とストッパー !8
の位置を 6 ∼ 7 ｍｍに調整します。
2) 調整後、止めねじ !7 を締めてください。
3) 隙間を大きくすると、縫い終わりの糸残り量が短く
なり､隙間を小さくすると、 縫い終わりの糸残り量が
長くなります。
Adjust the clearance between knife base !6 and stopper !8
when air cylinder 3 moves to the extreme left position.
1) Loosen setscrew !7 and adjust the clearance between
knife base !6 and stopper !8 to 6 to 7 mm.
2) After the adjustment, tighten setscrew !7 .
3) When the clearance is made larger, thread remaining
length at the end of sewing is shortened, and the
clearance is made smaller, thread remaining length at
the end of sewing is lengthened.
Adjust the clearance between looper @1 and lower knife 4.
1) Bring the needle bar to its highest position.
2) When actuating air cylinder 3 in the right-hand direction,
lower knife 4 protrudes in the left-hand direction.
3) Loosen setscrews @0 in guide !9 and move the lower
knife up or down so that the clearance between the
bottom surface of lower knife 4 and the top surface of
looper @1 is 0 to 0.1 mm.
4) After the adjustment, tighten setscrews @0 , actuate air
cylinder 3 by hand, and make sure that the thread
trimmer device smoothly moves.
Perform the work with the needle bar at the

highest position when actuating the thread
trimmer mechanism by hand.
