(11) Adjusting procedure of the position of the tension roller

WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

1. Adjusting the lateral position
Adjust so that the right-hand end of the elastic belt
meets the left-hand side of collar ❺ of the front roller
and collar ❸ of the intermediate roller when putting
straight the elastic belt on the front roller.
Adjust in accordance with the procedure below.
(1) Loosen two screws ❶ , adjust elastic belt guide
❹ to the elastic belt width, and tighten two
screws ❶ .
(2) Loosen screw ❷ , adjust collar ❺ to the position
of the right-hand end of elastic belt, and tighten
screw ❷ .
(3) Loosen screw ❻ of collar ❸ of the intermediate
roller, and move collar ❸ to the right or left in
accordance with the elastic belt width.
At this time, make sure that the elastic belt is
put straight.
Then tighten screw ❻ .
(Caution) Do not excessively tighten screws ❷
and ❻ . Deformation of collars ❸ and
❺ will be caused.
2. Adjusting the vertical and longitudinal posi-
tions
(1) Loosen clamp lever ❶ and screw ❷ . Adjust
the height and longitudinal position of the front
roller.
(2) After the adjustment, tighten clamp lever ❶ and
screw ❷ .
