Using the Router LEDs to Check Links

Use the LEDs on the front of the router to check the links between the router and attached Ethernet
devices or telephones. Use
827-4V, and SOHO 77 routers.

Normal Patterns
On
ETHERNET 1 is on when the Ethernet is
physically connected.
ETHERNET RXD blinks when an Ethernet
port receives an Ethernet packet.
ETHERNET TXD blinks when an Ethernet
port sends an Ethernet packet.
